1 Corinthians 16:5-18

16
Chapter 16
5 But I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia. 6 But it may happen that you will stay or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I go. 7 For I do not wish to see you now in passing, for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits. 8 But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost. 9 For a great and effective door has been opened to me, and there are many opponents. 10 Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be without fear among you, for he works the work of the Lord, as I do. 11 Therefore let no one despise him. But send him off in peace, so that he may come to me, for I am waiting for him with the brothers. 12 Now concerning Apollos the brother, I exhorted him much that he come to you with the brothers; and by all means it was not the divine will that he come now, but he will come when he has opportunity. 13 Watch, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strengthened. 14 All of you, be loving. 15 But I exhort you, brothers: you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they appointed themselves to ministry to the saints. 16 that you also submit to such people and to everyone who works together and labors. 17 But I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they filled up your need. 18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore recognize such people.
